A project supported by the MELCCFP Plan national de l’eau is developing mapping tools to make groundwater-quality knowledge more accessible in Québec.

The research will compile and analyze hydrogeological and hydrogeochemical datasets to characterize natural geochemical backgrounds and the spatial distribution of inorganic constituents. The resulting maps will support groundwater assessment, planning, and public communication.

Vincent Cloutier leads the project, with Éric Rosa and Rahim Barzegar as co-principal investigators.
